Very nice guys! Thanks for posting up your pics. The whole purpose of this thread is to give a visual of what has and can be done by your upholstery Guru's. It helps with making that all important and tough decision on style and design. Some beautiful seats in here!

A little back tilt can gain more room than you think, no need for setback.
Two pieces of 2x3" rect. tubing cut diagonally on the bandsaw produces four nice angled mounts.

  12. Actually angling back is in the future. My back feels better when I am not too straight up. We'll address that on the build thread. The wedge came to mind but I have a weird build specific idea, check your PMs. LOL

  13. These I put in my coupe, when I first got it running. IMG_0074.JPG They came out of a econoline van. . IMG_0589.JPG Second set I made from mid '80's dining room chairs, plywood base and thick pressed cardboard backs.

We’re anxious to show off our newst product... 35/36 Ford replacement spring inserts. Get rid of the broken down coil springs and replace them with Zig-zag inserts. These are original frames with the inserts installed...

Wow how much time has passed since we made the move from SoCal to Mo.? Too much obviously!

Guess we need to give this thread a bump and get caught up on several months of your seat progress! We would love to see what your seats are turning out like?
    Lets see um

  21. Using 60 T-Bird seats in Miss Taboo, cut the tracks down to lower the seats so the top of the seat is slightly lower than the bottom of the window line.

Lots of leather, trunk done to match and the area behind the seat. Smells as nice as it looks.
