Customs searching for information on lost custom

what I am looking for is anyone who may remember this 51 meteor custom it is (was)a Canadian car but posting here as it may have gone State side at some time.there are some unique features including a y-block with twin carbs and a cover over rear seat that sported a diamond pattern sewn in.in the one shot of the rear it appears to be sporting a club plaque very popular in 50s-60s.it appeared in a car show at one not sure why some pics repeated tried to remove repeats no lucktime [

 

update on plaque a fellow on a local site blew up the pic.result is the name of club on plaque

 

Those are called "Tonneau Covers"

Nice looking car. The photos repeat when you enlarge a photo and then add more. I've fought that battle more than once.

I'm always afraid to go looking for an old rod or custom because it may be changed so much you don't recognize it now.

 

Is that a stock grill?

Why is the license plate different on the rear?

first it is a modified stock grille I will see if I can find a picture of an unmodified one.meteors were only in Canada as to plate I believe the rear is a 51 plate whereas front is probably a current one for year photo was shot.

 

thanks for plaque picture as to cover it was easier to spell cover.also most think of a truck cover when they read tonneau
