Search function is broken

I've mentioned this before but never got an answer. Why is it when I run a search that no matter what it is the most recent thread that comes up is ove one year old? Is it just me that this happens to? Am I doing something wrong? This is and has been very annoying for as long as I can remember here. This is the only forum I seem to have an issue with.

 

I don't have any problems but I use the advance search. HRP

 

Have you tried using the advanced search and setting the date parameters?

Yeah I always use the advanced search. I will try the specific date range method I guess.

 

I guess that's why I never have problems,I always use the advanced feature. HRP

 

When searching the term "rod" with a date range of 6 months and newer I get this response:


no such filter attribute 'dateline'

 

Rod is kinda of a broad term. HRP

 

I just tried that same search with the key work ROD and got 20 pages. Try clearing your browser catch and cookies and search again to see if you get any different results.

Or go to google put in your search terms put in a + sign and http://www.jalopyjournal.com at the end.

 

Near the top of the page, there are 2 search buttons......the top one is in the black bar (search).....A little lower is the red button (search this thread).....don't use the red search, it doesn't work very well.....USE THE BLACK ONE ONLY!!!
