Marvellous stuff, I reckon you enjoyed that! It maybe not running hot, just the water finding it's proper level, an expansion tank might help with that.

I just watched a movie about Ab Jenkins. He ran a stripped down Pierce Arrow v12 Roadster at Bonneville in '32 and '33 He ran over 120 MPH easily and averaged over 117 for 24 hours in an endurance run. And that was the little 468" engine.

    Be careful with that thing!

Interesting torque reaction when the clutch engages, which might help stop the rear from squatting and the front rising when accelerating.

Really amazing what Ab did in 1932.
My engine is almost the same he used, but a little bigger and with dual carburetors and ignition.

Today we put resistances in the ignition coils.
We must make some reinforcements in the firewall. It’s flexing a little when we used the gas pedal.

Imagining the car completely finished. Shiny paint, shiny stainless headlight buckets...
and the whole grill and grill shell in chrome.

Always willing to encourage you in spending more of your time, effort and money.

As ever, " Perfection cannot be rushed " " Patience is a virtue "

I am waiting patiently for the completion of this magnificent machine, so that I can compose another proper poem, to pay tribute to the " LEVIATHAN " build, from start to finish.

Bravo Gui, such a pleasure to see the latest progress!

We use a single Brooklands style aero screen. Two wouldn’t fit!
    IMG_6183.JPG IMG_6188.JPG
And put the four fenders in place.
    IMG_6187.JPG IMG_6189.JPG
Now we are bending the perforated stainless steel heat shield to cover the exhaust.

    Thanks!

What if you staggered the windscreens? Inspired by the staggered seating?

I would blend the bottom of the wind screen panel forward into the body. Make it a bit more stylish.

Yes! We’ll make some adjustments. Maybe a leather cover like the old Bugatti’s.

    Loving the details.
If you do any blending at the windshield, only blend the mount. Leave the mechanism visible. It's too old world cool to be obscured.

I said previously that I want to see you drive your creation 100 km per hour. Actually, the more you do to it, the more I want to see ME drive your creation 100 km per hour! LOL

Did you consider lengthening the Brookland frame and having a new windscreen cut?

But it's great the way it is.

Again... always ready to spend your money and time.
