1960 Chevy "Seafoam Green" is a very specific color, as is 1960 Chevy "White". If you want to bring this off successfully you'll need to have your color mixed by the exact factory code to the exact factory hue...not just something close.

Close, in this case, just won't do...in my most humble opinion. The truly spectacular effect of a factory paint scheme on a modified car comes from it being "spot on" to original.

I really like Seafoam and White on Chevys and well remember a high school classmate who had a near-new '57 Chevy Bel Air convertible in Seafoam Green with a white top. I hope you'll choose this combo for your 'wagon...you'll like it!

Just my $.02...hope it helps. :)

I am not a big fan of green, but my dads 53 Chevy cpe is painted Seafoam Green on the bottom and Surf Green roof and he doubled the 210 side trim and its dark green in the stripe. As a matter of fact, its a 79 Cad color.

  8. I had a '58 Roadmaster when I was a kid that was sea foam green from the factory. I recall thinking that i would paint the old beater mid-night blue but now in retro-spect it was a pretty slick color. I would paint one that green in a heartbeat.

What is the 55 Ford color code for the sea foam green? I have been looking high and low and can't find it.

Here is what is looks like now. I am almost done with my body work and I am getting ready to prime it. I was looking at the Arizona Green Tea can and I think that is what I am going to take in to the paint store to see if they can match it. What do you guys think of a light seafoam metal flake over it? Too much?

I don't know if this qualifies as seafoam , but it is the perfect green for this "A"

Here is the color I was thinking about. Does anyone know if this is a pearl shot over it or is it a flat clear? (I hi-jacked this pic from ChevyGirlRox:eek:)

  25. That sure looks a lot like the truck that was on the cover of (Custom?) Classic Trucks a few months back. Built by Austin Speed Shop.

I love it. The only thing I don't like is I'm trying to get a head start on my interior while I do the bodywork and I can't decide on what colors go best with it.

I'm thinking black, black and white, tan, or tan and white. Tough to decide!!
