That Poteet Coupe is becoming my most favorite coupe ever! It's sort of reminds me of the Chrisman coupe and I think that's what is doing it for me......oh wait it's a rolling bones '34. That's why it's so nice. Rad pics my friend.

  3. Thanks for the pix...I can't say that I have ever seen a pic from Bonneville that wasn't bitchin'...damn I wish I was there...

Next year when you back in Mooresville, we will get together a caravan of cars to make the trip. I guess that really makes no sense seeing how you are so much closer now, yet I thought it was a nice gesture to add.

  6. Will probably be easier from there as life pressures (i.e. California overhead) and downsizing my business will give me more flexibility plus it will give me a chance to catch up with alot of my West Coast buddies...first round is on me when I get back there...thought that would be a nice gesture to add

Thanx for the new pix! Sure wish I could have been there... that gray push truck is a hoot. A buddy is there now working for a team from Mass. and I'm still kicking myself for not going with them. I called him yesterday and he said about half the racers are already gone - either met their goals or set their records or broke. The hot rod invasion / salt flat photo vogue-ers are taking over now. 12. nice pics, I wish i was still there. Heard on the news here 2 roll overs yesterday a 50 some year old man rolled at over 130mph and a women rolled at 239mph and denied any medial assitance so she must be one of those super humans I have heard about. Shit I roll when I skateboard and always fuck myself up.

What's with the ski boots in the first pic? Did they set a record?

more pics...some added on initial post ...

There was a group of guys and a gal that were actually skiing on the salt being pulled by an ATV until they got busted.

Last year there was a camel here, never know what you will see on the salt.

Thanks for the reply to thread .... Sorry to take so long to get back with you, but am now just getting my karma back after the big journey.

Attached is an extension of your idea with a little photoshop magic.

BTW.... I like your longroof Falcon, neat idea for an updated version of the grocery getter. It is good to have a wife that follows your vision. Look forward to keeping with up the updates to completion.

    Thanks for the reply....

You are right about the event, after Tuesday there was a definite exodus of people. I was in Wendover until Saturday but didnt hit the salt after Thursday afternoon due to being exhausted from being on the salt for 4 days and lack of people there.

    Next year will plan accordingly.
