To all of you automotive machinist people in HAMB land I have a question, in the 70's I used to install umbrella seals on stock SBC heads w/o cutting the guides to accept the seal. I dislike the o-ring style so does anyone have a part # for the seals I need?
    Thanks to all!

I've alway used valve seals for Studebaker V8. The local store has them in stock.

  9. When I worked in the NAPA machine shop in '69, we used the small-block Ford umbrellas on all the small-block Chevys. No machining required. At that time, they were the same price as the o-rings.
