    nope no pogress still having the same problems with it, i moved the vacuum advance hose that goes to carb to the front lower right side of the holley carb. im thinking of just rebuilding the whole engine to have a reliable daily driver because now it started making a small clicking noise,the noise stops and then starts again.:mad:

    Is there any way you could have bad gasoline. I just went thru the same thing and it turned out to be bad gas. Had lots of rust in the tank and carb.do you have a fuel filter installed

    yea i have two fuel filters one right by the gas tank and another one close by the carb
