I had a 75 monza.. factory 350. Very low production for sure. Most were the dreaded 267. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Nope, 392 came out of a Chevy pick up 56 354 truck engine came out of a Chevy pickup 331 industrial came out of a Chevy pickup 55 331 came out of a Chevy pickup Matter of fact I've got a few 5.3, 3.8, 307, 350, more than a few Pontiac 400 and 428s, and a ford 289 out of a Chevy pickup as well.
Sticker placement. Don’t know if the covers were ever swapped, but driver’s side is where it’s located on mine.
Exactly...lol That paint shouldn't be on a 69 engine, I'm not willing to take the $800 dollar gamble on it to find out either. The heads don't look like nothing special either to give any clues.
Something in the water in Ohio?... what is the reasoning with this? What era are the pickups?... that's really interesting only seen a few 472-500 cads in c-10s
Consider the context - in particular " the 350 came out of a Mazda" and all the other bullshit people say about engines. Now Think about it- just a little,,,, If I brought you a hemi engine, what would you get it out of ? It came out of a Chevy pick up. That's the truth, sorta
To further stretch this trivial point it should read: "For all intents and purposes; it's the same. In any case it's a moot point". Class dismissed
I was always taught never explain a joke... Or shouldn't have to anyway. In case anybody gets the wrong idea, though let's go over this. "For all intents and purposes" not "intensive purposes". And, points are moot, not mute. So the joke here was to pile on the misuse of a word by adding more. Get it? It annoys the fuck outta me too. Whatta ya gonna do?
Maybe you should get the shit out of your eyes and read it again, it clearly says "MONZA" and I also state that I'm not saying it came out of a monza, just what the ad says. Before you go criticizing someone learn to read first then make your statement.
Looks like it has the light weight heads since they are not straight across the bottom of the head where head meets the block deck surface which indicates later model. Probably not worth spending your money.
Back up, Monza auto corrected to Mazda. And it just tried again for Mona It's a joke and nothing against you. Nor did I lay out a personal attack on you or anyone else. Happy new year.
Dreaded autocorrect strikes again.....It's burned me a few times as well. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
The only way to find out what is, is to pull the heads off... And measure the bore diameters... Pretty easy to do with a 6" scale....
Geez, I thought someone would have posted the YouTube vid of Mrs. Cleaver on Airplane...she knew how to speak jive.....
I have a set of small block valve covers with a Tonawanda sticker on it, well whats left of one. When i was cleaning them up to repaint i butchered the sticker, when i finally repaint i’ll have to get a replacement sticker Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
