Hot Rods SBC into 53 Merc Hurst Mounts

Has anyone done ( or have ) a 53 Merc with a SBC in it ?

Im looking at going with the old Hurst 202 mounts and SBC cradle mount.

Are there any oil pan issues ?

Will be using chevy 3 speed as well so thinking have to make a transmission mount and alter drive shaft.

Any info would be great.

If memory serves you might need a dropped tie rod. Depends on what pan.

 

I also have a dropped tie rod available.
