I like the Z-28 manifold on my daily
There's a reason for the same old Edelbrock on a sbc. They work. To be different just for the sake of being different seems counter-productive to me. The only street manifold I've ever owned that would outdo an Edelbrock dual plane was a 300-36 Holley that was portmatched to some Brodix heads I had on a 377 sbc.
I prefer the "air gap" style intakes as it is a smudge easier on tuning the mixture cause the fuel stays at a closer temp when cold and hot. So i have found out with my stuff anyways.
I have a new Air-Gap for my Ford 5.0L... I haven't tried it yet...
Props for 'pluperfect hell'.
Haven't heard that word in a zillion years
EDIT: I just bought an airgap for vortec. Used. Hell no I wont pay new prices.
wish i could take credit for it but, its from a movie called "kiss kiss bang
bang" and NO, its not that kinda movie!
that IS a purdy intake and congrats on havin LOTS of lackeys to do the heavy liftin. i need me some of those, especially for winter!
I was using a used intake. I did everything I couild to make it look good. It was ok for a while then it dulled So I sprang for a new one. I hope this one lasts because it's the last dam one going on this thing fo sure.
Dig a deep hole in the backyard and bury it.
