Hot Rods SBC Fenton Intake

Hey guys looking for some info.Bought this intake/carbs r supposed to b rebuilt.It came with some spacers(do i need them?) i have a stock 70s engine. will it run alright as is or would it b better w/ cam & new heads. Also has no linkage .

 

What size engine? What year engine? Should operate fine on center carb. Cam and the right heads , even factory hipo heads for 3x2 set up.

 

Factory 3x2 used a better cam and heads than a stock run of the mill. What are the numbers on your current heads ?

 

Are spacers flat or wedge shape?

Not really sure on that intake...…………...but...………….I am currently doing 4 Rochester 2j on a SBC. Since vertical height is an issue, we didn't use the ( almost 1/4 inch thick )plastic spacers only to find without them, we didn't have any vacuum. We put the spacers back on and everything seems to work

Don't recall a factory 3X2 SBC.

 

I ran that exact same Fenton Tri power on a 400ci. With spacers. Never tried it without so can't comment. Was a great setup.
