There are two bosses on either side and just forward of the rear carb on my 3x2 intake. Do you think that I could drill and tap them for a vacuum source? I need distributor vacuum and vacuum for my TH- 350 modulator. Thanks , Bill

What carbs are you running, 2GC, 97 or 94s? Ported vacuum on a Stromberg

Here's a later triple deuce manifold with OEM NPT vacuum fittings (Power brakes, transmission or distributor). I assume that you could use a standard T-fitting as well.

  5. Your center carb has a large vacuum port on the back, use a Tee for distributor and PCV.

Distributor vacuum should be from the center carb, right side 45* angle forward. I believe the vacuum modulator can be any intake vacuum source. My last on was from a manifold fitting. The rear of the middle carb was also used for the PCV valve.

I would drill and tap both. One 1/4"NPT and the other 3/8"NPT. If not needed use nice aluminum Allen style plugs with never seize on them. Good luck.

I have this extra base with a vacuum port that I think I may use. That would take care of the distributor . I could use a tee for the pvc and modulator. Is there an after market tee with the 1/4" npt ? Thanks , Bill 2017-08-15 09.47.30.jpg

  9. I made my own "T". The diameter of the crankcase vent hose and the distributer advance are what? 3/8's and 1/8th? So use an elbow for the crankcase and drill a small hole in the opposite side of the elbow to make a "T". Make the second hole the id for the distributer vacuum hose and solder a small piece of tube into the elbow.
