heres my willys that I got that needed some t.l.c. im getting it ready for the Detroit autorama for the feb. 2016 show. its all steel and im finishing the metal work to get it back in shape, the car is really complete and all the front is suspension is original willys. I am even using the original gas tank. im not cutting the fire wall, I want to retain as much of the car as possible, even all the dash gauges are there along with the original steering column, I hope you like it !! the pictures of the car with the frt clip on are before I put the orginal frt. suspension on.

Both cars look great and it's always nice to save a piece of drag racing history.

Nice to see you step up and get a steel one. What is the reason for all the pie cuts in that front fender? Bob

It may sound dumb at this point but you should switch engines and put the 354 in the steel car and use the sbc for the glass car, that way you'd have a real 60's style Willy's gasser.

  18. I agree with this statement... glass for "Go Fast" but keep the steel real.

yes, everyone was scared off because of the body work, but they did an awesome job on it. they got the panels from rolands willys in Oregon, check his site out, that guy is amazing !! everything fits perfect, they even got a full aluminum deck lid from him too, im very excited about this car!!!!
