    I hope we will see more... to the car's completion. The Phoenix has risen, but still needs some feathers to fly! Very inspiring thread. A keeper. Gary

    I am constantly amazed with the quality of work that some people out there (read you) are capable of. True craftsmanship. Beautiful job.

    Holy hell that is sweet. I have friends (who aren't hot rodders) tell me how awesome my project is... it's embarrassing because I can't help but think of beautifully done builds like this. I can only hope to be half this good some day.

    SHIT BOY HOWDY... :eek::D:eek:
    Some people have Talent, some have Quality, and some are Off the Scale..
    Any you my man have all of it.
    What an awesome build, and thanks for taking us on the ride with you..
    Cheers......

  5. Rich, great thread. Your skill is obvious, and your patience is as well. Thanks for showing just what kind of effort it takes to go from "bolt-on buggy" to a real nice hot rod. Your customer is a lucky guy to have you working on this - can't wait to see the finished product. Your thread and El Polacko's are really showing what can be done to make these cars better, safer, etc while still retaining the looks we all desire.

  6. Damn fine job Rich...Hope we see more of your work soon!

  10. Dang That looks great!
    I am assuming you used single stage paint? How many coats do you apply before color sanding and buffing?
    Fantastic job!

    Man ,what a nice car ,
    Now people can see what is in a paint job and the cost of a well done paint job...

    outstanding work

  20. Thanks for the info-IMHO the single stages look good on a traditional build-not as 'plastic' looking somehow...if that makes any sense.

    spending time masking/prepping is definitely something us guys with a few years/builds under our belts understand....the young guys will figure it out in time...
