    Haven't posted in awhile...

Finnally finished the doors , primered them Sunday.

Deck lids ready , should get that and another coat of primer on the rest of the body Saturday.

    Thanks
    Mike

  3. WOW!!!!!! To do what you have done with the pile of rusted scrap you started with is amazing. I just spent a lot of time looking thru the whole post. Just subscribed and will be following it.

Just read the entire thread. All I can say is amazing work and attention to detail. While I don't have nearly the skills shown here it is truly inspiring to see this kind of work on a car that most would have left to rot let alone take a second look at. Thank you for such a detailed thread and keep at it can't wait to see the finished product!

Well good and bad on the drive shaft. Looks great, fits like it should from a length standpoint put the the frame is once again an issue. Cross Bar is place right at the front of the shaft's joint location. Can't be where this thing should have been placed

Pretty frustrating, I have had 5 major issues with this frame ..frame holes off (knew about this when I bought it) , frame width wrong welded incorrectly, way too narrow 1/4 to 1/2 "-spreader bars won't fit. Center section placed in such a way that the 4 bar suspension would not fit at the rear (still have to deal with what I had to cut off) . Brake pedal assembly had to be replaced with a custom made unit ...again center section design.

Now this..any drive shaft would hit this thing..

nothing exciting here, but I usually wind up spending hours working on something and it appears no progress is occcuring...Spent some of yesterday prepping the deck lid, the seat pan panel (bottom side prior to welding it in) and the vent lid, little bond work many pits ..

Seeing what you have done with the body, a couple frame alterations shouldnt phase you. Somewhere I have seen dropped driveline crossmember like socal has, to clear your driveshaft. Tackle one thing at a time.

It looks like it could happen! This is one incredible build. Not just the time and effort but the determination you have too. Very inspiring

Finished the floor underseat panel and the fastening method for the front floor tins.

Square nuts were welded in place, fron body bolts have a heavy tube under the sheet metal for support (forgot to take a picture)
