My buddy Paul turned me on to this one and today we recued it. These things are really overlooked in the custom world. Tail dragging stance, skirts, and a dressed up flat six really make a neat ride. I'm not the one to build it but will try to find it a good home. 20190621_173501.jpeg 20190621_173511.jpeg IMG_5510.jpeg IMG_5507.jpeg IMG_5516.jpeg

I agree but they do bring pretty good money, especially Fultons.

Vis-a-vis visors:D. I have one on my '51 Ford because it is a very original car and it was installed by the selling dealer in 1951 (I have the original invoice to prove it). Also, I live 6 miles east of the town where the post office is located (we do not have local mail delivery). If I go to town to pick up my mail in the afternoon on a sunny day, I am glad I have it. I now think that if I removed it the car would be lacking something. What do you guys think?

On a restoration I see nothing wrong with'em. Great looking shoebox. Hot rodders tended to strip off all the unnessesary do dads.

Great save. I'm no expert by any means but a good start would be remove all the chrome, do a quality full body media blast, then quickly prime it up. Then, you can do just about anything you want to do to it. Good luck.

  12. Oh George...it's a business coupe! I'd love to have one. It appears to be pretty rust free too. At 1200 it should already be gone!

Nope, some idiot shot it out. Couple bullet holes in the sail panel as well.
