Hi Dan, I've seen a couple on Craigslist in the last week. I got rid of mine when I put the small block in. I know there is a guy in LaPorte who has quite a few 50/54 Chevys I bump into him once in a while in O'Reillys.
I saw the ones on craigslist. Starting a new job on Monday so I may go get one this week to do a quick swap out so it will move under its own power.
got a motor.... dropped it in today. Tomorrow I hook everything back up. The original starter looks pretty rough but tomorrow I need to make it work if possible.
motor is running. Got the new gas tank and sending unit installed. New exhaust came in last night after dark ...of course. So first thing this morning the exhaust is going on. then I need to hook up the fuel line and hoses for the tank and add some fuel. Later today it should be back on the ground and running for the first time since 1966.
