    which came first?

    i'm liking the flipper caps. looks like dual quad sans air cleaners and different exhaust also.

    Saw the second car on Dennis Gauge show, he didn’t saw it was a survivor

    well... the first shot is between 56 and 62.

    I would guess the slicks, chrome plated wheels and 6 carbs were improvements over the bottom photo, making the drags pic the early one

    I’d surmise that the top photo was the latter, approx 1960-61.
    The lower one 58-59, possibly???? I’m basing it on the fact Chrome reversed wheels were a big thing right in that era. Full wheel covers were beginning to take a back seat to the “Chromies”.

    In his book, "Hot Rods of the 1950s", Andy Southard states that it was sold in 1956 to Buzz Sawyer.
