Lone Star Roundup 2013 by Pro Photo Photography, on Flickr
Made it home safe, cleaned, unpacked, and finally made some time to upload my pics and share the experiences.
On Thursday the Meatheads held their Kickoff BBQ. As I wrote earlier, the ride out was amazing, as you'll see in the pics. The weather couldn't have been better. The BBQ itself was amazing! Hats off to the Meatheads, and others involved for putting on such a great event!
More from the BBQ...
Good selection of pics.
Looks like you all had a great time.
Cool pics thanks for sharing
After the BBQ a bunch of us headed over to Billy's for thirsty Thursday's. What a collection, you need help man ; ) Good times!

It was great to see y'all again. . .you know, we really should see you more than a mere once a year. . .
Hudson looked great, and I'm sorry that I drooled on the wagon.
Thanks again for driving our Canadian Asses around to the "places to be". Great meeting you guys and hope to see you soon.
I should have ventured with you guys. I wouldn't have been the ugliest one there. Just kidding. Cool post and thanks for sharing.
The previous pics are just the tip of the experience when attending the Roundup. There's so much to do and see in the Austin area. Almost makes me want to move there! Hmmmm... Anyhoo, here's the start of my show coverage. This year the attendance was great on Friday, and awesome on Saturday. The cloud cover, stiff breeze, with burst's of the suns ray's helped make for comfortable days.
Hot rodder's helping hot rodder's. Thanks to Mr. Oltorf Road for ripping off the master cylinder curiosity of a strategically placed manhole cover. After a mad thrash, renting a welder from Home Depot, they made it to the show on time! Congrats! Note! Austin is not the place for riding in the weeds!
Heading into registration on Friday.
More show pics...
Still coming campers...
It amazes me, every single thread on the Lone Star I look at is full of stuff I didn't even see there!
I'll be back next year.....I'd post pictures.....but they are gonna be in
The Raydar Magazine issue #2 VERY soon....

One of the attractions at the end of day one was to see Jade Idol at the Trophy Bar on S.Congress. Here is Austin Speed Shop's own Bob Bleed getting down!
