Sad day, Dickie Flippen R.I.P.

  1. So sorry to pass on the news that Dickie Flippen has passed.

    I never had the opportunity to meet Dickie, and had hoped to get the chance to. My Dad went to high school with Dickie, and we had hoped to get the chance to show him the 32" Chevy we built. If your not familiar with Dickie and his affair with 32" Chevy's, do yourself the favor and learn about a legend.

  2. A local hero. Nice feature article about him several years ago in The Rodder's Journal. Former employee at Mickey Thompson's who made his way back home here in Richmond. RIP.
