Hey, about to do my T5 swap in a 66 c10, but I am having trouble getting a clutch disc around here for an astro van. From what I understand they are a little bit bigger than the s10 but the s10 disc should still work fine right? Does anybody have a napa or any other part number for just the disc for one of these vans? Thanks a lot.

  2. do a t5 swap search here, there are several good threads with part numbers.

Thanks for the tips...reason I am asking again is because I am still struggling to find just the disc for an astro van in canada. Part numbers can be different and we don't have O'Reilly, Pep Boys etc OK?

s10 clutch for a 4.3 will be an 11" with the 14 spline. I did the swap couple years ago on my 53 chevy truck. check length of input shaft, some of those are longer.

Thanks guys, tried my local napa with no luck because all they will sell is a complete clutch kit, tried some other local parts stores and they said the same thing and I cant find a shop that sells SACHS clutches around here. So I guess I just have to order one from the US and get boned on the shipping! But thanks again for the part numbers and suggestions.

Typical HAMB, long on opinions and search nazis and short on specifics.

You need NAPA Part number cp4212 11 inch x 14 spline x 1 inch from a 1987 Astro with a 4.3 engine. The GM part number is 15551426.

    Has worked 100 % in my AV8 with a T5. The S10 has a 10 inch clutch.

Rock Auto had 2 lest of the Sachs part # the other day. They had 3 & I bought one.

Around here they won't sell you just the disc so save some time & just order it & be done...

They might have discontinued that part number because I could not find it on the Canada website or at the local napa.

Rockauto's online catalog is a great source for cross referencing parts.

  17. Rock auto was the only place I found I could buy just the disc. Everywhere else only listed the complete clutch kit.

I know this is getting old but I literally can not find one anymore anywhere online, rock auto has none left, o'reillys does not and Napa will not sell a disc anymore. I am going to try get ahold of rock auto and see when they will have more in stock. Even Summit racing used to have a ZOOM brand disc but dont carry it anymore...
