That's the price you pay to be cool. HAHA! Glad to see you're running Olds power.
Loaded and ready to go to the blaster Monday.
That looks so nice makes me want to go to the shed an weld something
Made it back from the blaster. Waiting on supplies to be delivered to start painting.
Been a long day, but one more step marked off the instruction sheet!
What does SEGA mean or stand for.

Love the slots!
Love your work, beautiful, My Olds I
had 20 years ago.
Thanks Dago, I've got good help! This is a new venture for me. I've built tube chassis cars, back-half/ pro-street cars. A few stock style cars and trucks. Never a old school build. Learning alot of what they had back in the day. After all I was just a kid when these cars was racing.
Where did you get your slots? I want them for my car!
Ordered them from Summit. US Mag I believe is the company that make them.
Getting front cap mocked up for mounting fab work.
Your pics of the rosette welds help show how to do them.
Another mock up pic. For a low end luxury ride she's starting to look the part of a Hot- Rod!
That thing looks great, are they going to make you paint it?
No, I can run it in patina, but that's not me. I've always leaned towards shiny!
Anthony that website is a deep rabbit hole. About 20 cars down on that page is a green 1955 Thunderbird. That guy's name is Fred and he comes to our nostalgia drags sometimes. Car still looks the same.
I understand wanting to paint it, in case you don’t, lots of us will like it anyway. Keep up the good work, it looks great.
Thanks, we've been working on this car for a year now. 1 day a week is all the 3 of us can meet up. Usually on a Saturday. Then it's only for 3-5 hours. I'm happy with the progress that's been made.
There will definitely be more to come!!
Making a lot of progress!
Having a small crew makes a world of difference. Wish I had a little help w/ my bad back
Patina would be super sick, but SEGA is all about keeping the cars the same. These guys have more into their paintjobs, than I do total into my whole coupe, and my fiances tudor!
There are a few SEGA "patina" cars....
Great paint jobs on your race car is pretty darn traditional.
With the SEGA, you'll see cars with top end paint jobs all the way down to just pulled it out of the woods! All of them impressive in their own way!
The Olds is looking good.
We all thank you!!!
