I'm considering using an manual S-10 box in my Model A. I've read all sorts of horror stories about Vega boxes and don't wish to go down that road. However I'd like to know if the 4 wheel drive boxes mount the pitman arm lower that the 2 wheel drive boxes? Also is anything else required to use it in a rear steer configuration other than swapping the pitman arm 180 degrees?

    Isn´t that S10 box basically a 525?

I think so. I have an 85 with power steering and it looks the same as 2 from Novas.

I think my computer ate my reply. But I think it is. I have one with power steering, and the box looks like 2 Nova power steering boxes that I have.
But I don't know if there is some sort of casting ID that would indicate what they are? 625's?
