That was a fun read. I wasn’t on the H.A.M.B. during those years but it was fun looking at the dates and thinking back where I was at the time (typically overseas with the USMC.) I did what I could to stay active with the hotrod scene and lived to read hotrod deluxe and Hopup while in the “field.”

Terms like "Wrectums" and "Curious Rash" were a couple of my favorites. I scan the board several times a day, but I rarely post. Years ago there was more humor. There was definitely a lot of verbal abuse in the past.

  8. Number 141 after the reset in 2001. Before 2001 I do not remember what my number was. Also, I do remember that sticker Bob K made could get you banned at one time as Ryan hated them. I still have mine that Bob K gave me while we toasted Casey behind the Continental Club during Round-Up. Times sure have changed.

We’ll instead of making a new post. I think I’ll just celebrate under the radar. :)
Best move I’ve ever made. Thanks @Ryan. 8B64ED55-CC48-40DA-8847-AD2DB3786CDB.jpeg

The signed poster looks like the one that Bad Bob would put up at the LA Roadsters Fathers day meet.

  15. @Jeff Norwell hover over their screen name, not their avatar. Then you'll see it at the end....

EDIT: You can also see it if you hover over the avatar and then over "Profile Page".

  19. Thanks for the photo, Trent! I've never seen this one before. Forgot what year this was. I'm in the chair and my brother is standing behind me. Some days I think I should have kept that old 33 pickup. 33PUspeedNpowermeetKC.jpeg

quick edit, if I'm seeing right I'm 6517?

Correct. Means you have been here longer than 98.3% of all the other HAMBers, Jocko, being as how the latest new member # is 385,599. So not only are you a real senior citizen, you are a HAMB senior. You at least have that going for you.
