Bingo. I've already had a run-in with them at my place. For my driver!

I don't think I could leave it there... I'd eventually be overcome with inspiration and beers then dig it all up and drag it into the shop...

  7. This was my yard art until about a month or so ago when someone wanted it more than me to repair the top on their car.

I know this won't be a popular response, but.....

There's a guy around here with a nice house who has something like 3 old rusty cars artfully placed in a flower garden in front. I hate it. The reason is that it's a junk car. It's not an old wagon wheel. It's a heap of scrap metal and looks like a rusty heap.

I don't find a lot of beauty in junk cars strewn about in one's front yard....I suppose maybe it's because I'm from W.V. and got enough of that scene as a kid. :D

I love junk cars (of course) and seeing one behind an old barn is a thing of beauty, but I just don't like them placed "artfully" in a flower bed or in the front lawn. I think it looks bad. Personal opinion...nothing more. Take it for what it is.

  12. Thats whats nice about living on a mountain top here in east t.n. I could put one in my front yard with out any problems.Bruce.

    ^^^ I agree with TINGLER.

It's cool in the backyard, but messes up your home's curb appeal. I try my best to keep my work in my garage and to keep my project cars in the driveway covered. The last thing you want is your neighbors pissed at you.

  16. Is that your "company car" in the background? No wonder you can get away with it :D

  17. Neighbor has a touring car as a flower planter. Interesting but not my thing. We (thankfully) don't have the zoning nazi's and I sure as hell ain't gonna complain to somebody about it. Last thing we need is somebody giving our landscape a pass/fail grade.

  18. This was my old one till some guy wanted some parts I gave him the whole car. Now I have a 53 dodge wagon , I like to watch them fade away.
