Rust prohibitor besides POR15?

    Wet sand, ospho, clean, and clear coat.
     
  3. I've used Eastwood's rust converter and rust encapsulater with good results. The encapsulater is available in "clear", but it really dries as an thick opaque coating. On the cheap side there is Rust fix I think it is made by duplcolor. You can get it at O'rielly. This works pretty good, but turns everything black.

    diegochero, I've used the dupicolor spray stuff and it does work fairly well. Especially in tight spots where you can't get to.

    In high humidity areas, nothing beats removing the rust in the long run.

    NAPA sells a coating similar to por 15 but about half its price.

    Zero-Rust is a product I've used in the past.
