Technical Running carbs backward?

    nope cant see problem with running the carbs backwards, upside down yes! but backwards should be fine, fuel pick up is from near the bottom of the bowl right. so it should be submerged no matter what unless your real low on gas but buy that time youll be filling up your tank and not tryin to beat your best E/T anyway.

    I had two Rochester carbs on my 270 GMC dragster a few years ago...bogged like hell out of the hole. Turned them around and it was all better. Later talked to a guy who had them on a Buick straight eight altered, and he had to do the same thing.

    Even though mine's not a drag car, I do drive 'em hard sometimes!

    NICE! I think some small aircraft run carbs under the sump with the manifold travelin through the sump.
