    Hey there, question:
Is this a good glue to use for running board covers?
I have an old set of 33-34 Ford running board covers, but I have no glue, and the online auto vendors, have their own labels covering the can so I’m just wondering is it worth it to buy their stuff, or just get my own glue?
    Thanks Rick!

  3. Yes it is. I've used it multiple times on covering running boards.

That's what I used 40 years ago. Running board covers still holding.

It is what I used to attach Drake covers to original steel running boards on my 48 Ford. I did clean both the board and covers with lacquer thinner and used a scotch bribe pad to slightly rough up the back of the rubber cover.

We've used vinyl top adhesive with very good results.
