Hell, Crawford County, county seat of Roberta, GA, most likely had a far higher output of shine per resident than Dawson County of which Dawsonville was county seat!

 

My thoughts exactly. That moonshine festival is a gloried cruise in traffic jam.

 

Jimmy and I have been talking and feel the best food solution is everybody bring their own and if you want, cook it on the big grill. Every time we do the communal feed we wind up with an enormous amount of food wasted. Comments?

I'll bring the twice cooked pork chops.

 

You can cook them on the communal grill, eat them and then let Chuck gnaw the bones. That way they will be twice eaten!

Thanks for the lodging info! We may come down on Saturday morning, and stay somewhere close overnight- considerin' the beer drinking. I should have the engine swap started and done way before that.
