Hot Rods Run away with the rolling bones traveling circus

Looks like ill be joining the circus this year for the way out, just booked a return flight to get me back home

 

Ken - I had to wait until it was post no. 32...

Well it was a great trip last year and this year is going to be even better, driving The Bones' '32 roadster from NY to Bonneville and back, racing the old girl on the salt.



Many years ago I ran away with The French National Circus so I'm right at home with The Rolling Bones carnies.

Looking forward to meeting everyone - I'll be the limey in 2321B...

Good luck BONES CIRCUS!! My car doesnt carry enough gas to go 50 miles...would take me 6 months to get out there!! hahahaha

Unfortunately the 29 will be the only bones hot rod not making the trip . That is unless someone steps up an bails her out from her current owner who finds himself between a rock and a hard place financially. I know she can be had for a fraction of her cost. Ever wanted to run a way with the circus ? ? ?

If you guys are coming out of the Erie area, which route are you taking from there to go west?
Im just wondering because we're just off RT80, south of erie pa, in ohio.
Maybe we can at least watch ya blow by headed towards toledo..

Come on Jack, lets hit the road and head to Bonneville. I'm leaving Friday afternoon August 5th and staying at Roger's for the night. You know you want to go and besides Jack Jr. would love a road trip.

Jack, Catch that ride with Joe and at least stay the weekend at Bville and you could fly back home.

Wait a minute , let me think about this for a " SECOND ". 5000 miles runnin' with 20 hot rods , four race cars and a cycle . parking lot parties . pitting with the bean bandits, varni, candyman,peckerheads and hot rod haven. rooms at the nugget. the nugget parking lot at night and racing vintage hot rods on the salt.
OK second's up - whats wrong with running away with the circus this year ??????
