Through my good friend Hans Helmersson I was invited to a very nice little race in Mern, Denmark this first week-end of September 2020. So..I drove my old oilgulping roadster down to Denmark from Norway. Always exciting with the weather since I have no top on it but it turned out alright. Had a garage at night (Thank you Anders) and VERY lucky with weather on my way home. It was a substitutional race, adjusted to Corona standards with only 30 vehicIes and a max of 100 persons at the race track. No spectators. But we had fun all day long. I made this short film in an antique style. Unfortunatly not working too well, specially with the stills.....but what the heck; Its fun anyway. Enjoy 11 minutes of old heaps and some swouinging tunes.
You did a great job with your film. It was definitely like what I remember old films being. the fluttering was right on.
Thanks for sharing this. Hot cars and smokin' music always work well together. You done good, except it reminds me that the Newport Hill Climb was cancelled this year. Your video makes up for it a little bit. LOL "TinTin Quarantino".
