I'm turning my t bucket into a RPU and I have made the bed but now I need to figure out what to do about the taillights. So my question is what have y'all done for taillights? Or what have you seen that looks good? Pics would be nice thanks. Here are some pics of what I have so far. Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
I used a set of these that were available at Harley dealers on a recessed roll pan under the bed of my 36 Chev p/u. the can be surface,or frenched....mine were surface mounted. http://store03.prostores.com/rullocustomcycles/media/5/a20791b12f08674d55a255_m.JPG On my 32, I'm using a set of 58 Bel-Aire taillights frenched in http://images.fineartamerica.com/images-medium-large/1958-chevrolet-belair-taillight-jill-reger.jpg
Yeah, but I drilled a extra hole in the housing and made a spacer to shim the cone shaped back to kept the light straight. HRP
On the model a and 37 taillights does one side have the license plate light in it? I notice when I look them up it has them listed for a specific side.
If you could find a nice pair of these Hudson taillights, they would look good, and you would run people crazy trying to guess what they came off of.
I am building a T-bucket roadster pickup. I am using 39 Chevy taillights. My bed is cut down from a 40's Studebaker 8 foot bed. the bed is now 26" long.I mounted the taillights on the rear bed uprights.
I made my own alloy brackets with new Model A units on my 26T.I wanted to use 32 mounts but they just wouldnt work for me. There are some great ideas ubove. JW
Model A taillights, only with F*** U lenses instead of the STOP lenses. Give tailgaters the message without saying a word or raising a finger LOL.
