A few months back I got the idea that I wanted to do more to share the great people that I've met and there cars with the world. Let's face it, a video of a car owner or builder talking about the ride is a nice alternative to the 100's of photos that a bunch of us post.

So on New Year's Eve Day I sat down with Yblock292 to talk about his 29 Model A roadster. I posted a rough edit of that video shortly after. Here we are in August and it was decided to revamp the video a bit, add in some driving shots and launch a video series where different owners & builders will be featured talking about their rides.

This is the first one, please let me know if you like it by subscribing on youtube or just saying so here. If people dig them I will keep going, right now I have 4 more shot and awaiting editing featuring Finkd's (Jeff Myers of Premier Body & Paint in Arkansas City, KS) 63 Galaxie, the 60 Fairlane that was formerly owned by McPhail, Finkd's wild Studebaker pickup and an OT 60 Pontiac owned and built by Chris Carlson of Chaotic Customs in Mulvane, KS.

    Without much further ado..

Thank you to Yblock292 (Jack) for letting me film this and for your always awesome hospitality. StrayKatKustoms held the events that introduced me to Jack, Jeff & a ton of other people, thanks again Micky I appreciate it. And Pushrod provided the music for the video, thanks boys!

    Hey, good job.
    Great interview.

Couldn't have started with a better car......I'm building one!

    More......definately, yes.

  3. Who is the guy you interviewed? Looks like some old guy to me. Enough BS from me.. Great interview with a guy that gets it and in addition is building a killer car. Thanks for putting it up for us to enjoy.
    Later,
    Dick

Is Jack really that Kool or did Travis just make him look that Kool? :)

Thank you everyone for your kind words. Any cool in that video was built in the 50's or inherent in Jack himself, I merely captured it. More will be on the way as soon as they are edited. Hopefully this can turn into a regular thing, the schedule goal right now is every two weeks but with a car show each week to shoot and share things might get tight timing wise.

Thanks again for taking your time to watch the video and to comment here. I'm truly humbled by your responses & I hope that I can keep you as impressed with future episodes!

    Travis
