Hi all. Let me start by saying, YES I realize this is not the best/correct way to do this. I get it. But in the name of "do it yourself, driveway techniques", is it possible to nicely metalflake a large area or roof with Roth metalflake in a can? Provided it's done with care by someone with the ability to do so. So, has anyone done a large area or roof this way?

Yes cans. And yes, his metalflake cans. I've seen some pretty large items get painted this way, but nothing as large and flat as a roof.

might be best to do a test panel to see if you get results that you are looking for.

I say go for it. When someone says "no" or "it can't be done", do it. That's how things get done and not by listening to "can't"
