    September 16th marks the day when my brother entered this world 50 years ago! I didn't think it was fair to leave you guys out of the big celebration since he considers you all family and I knew he'd never tell you on his own, so here I am...posting this all for his embarrassment. Never have I met anyone like my brother...he can eat, sleep, and drink cars 24/7. Where no matter where he goes, he sees someone that knows...in which he must stop and talk endlessly for hours about street rods. He has brought so much to the hot rodding community I can't even begin to mention it all. Today he's actually out on his Hot Rod Hundred cruise (over 200 cars showed up..WOW!) He started this annual event 5 years ago and also helped get it going in 5 other states! He rec'd his first Hot Rod at 2 years of age, when my Dad & Grandpa bought his 36 Ford pickup out the newspaper for $150. When Santa would bring my sister and I toys, my brother would get car parts (lol)...and he LOVED it! There were many times he forced me into child slave labor doing body work on one of his project cars. I like to complain about it but I did learn a lot. Now he and my dad are trying to pass some of this knowledge on to my son (58 Apache rebuild). Well, I'll spare a lot of crazy stories about him here so he won't kill me but I willshare some photos here if I can figure this HAMB thing out.

    Hope you all have time to wish him a Happy Bday or say thanks for something maybe he's helped you with in the past, or if you just want to share a funny story I would love that.
