  1. must be my screen settings, it sure does look blue under the tail light where the light was hitting it. I would have thought the car was green by that point, kinda why I was surprised it looked blue in the pic.

Did a repair on the front seats over the last few days, The front bucket seats are from a 58-60 Thunderbird and the foam in the butt of the seats had completely disintegrated so badly that it seemed like you were driving thru a sandstorm when you drove it. here is a pic of what was falling out of the seats... seata.JPG

One of the hardest parts was hog ringing the listing below the cords bordering the rolled and pleated sections, but I finally got it seatg.jpg

Finished seats back in the car, and man do they feel a lot better than before and I won't have to vacuum the car every time I drive it!! I have a new appreciation for upholsterers also, even though I did no sewing I found out how hard they work just putting the covers on... seath.JPG seati.JPG seatj.JPG

  11. Dang, a white interior is so classy!
Glad it was only foam dust and not mice poop!

  14. hmm those are the same seat we have in Taboo, now seeing the side skirts plated instead of covered has me thinking.....

Looks great though and I bet made a world of difference. I had the same thing on my O/T muscle car front seats, was a night and day difference.

I`ve worn out a few pairs over the years. The little pair is what they send when people order airplane kits. The bent handle is the only pair to have. That`s what he told you to get, right. DSCF0024.JPG DSCF0025.JPG

And yes, I replaced the burlap, I even hemmed it all around so it would not unravel

It's so refreshing seeing a garage full of brightly colored automobiles. Such a contrast to the typical black/white/grey/silver/pewter/charcoal etc.

I remember when Don Pennington owned it, He was contemplating a stock front end for it with a tube grille,

EVEN I said; Do NOT CHANGE THAT CAR !!!

He either listened or never found a suitable front end to exchange .
