Two months ago on Memorial Day, I had a bad engine fire while driving my car. It's been a long, hard journey, but today I fired her up for the first time. What a thrill. Pulled engine, repainted engine bay, new carb, wiring, valve covers, exhaust manifold, you name it, and now she is better than before the fire. Still have work to do, but for now I am a happy man.
Guessing that's a 61 Chevy? Looks great from here... I had an engine fire in my 36 Ford and it turned into one big mess - no extinguisher! Learned that one hard way. Got extinguishers now!!! Yes we do!!!
