Event Coverage ROLL CALL! Bonneville Speed Week 2013

Alrighty now!! A fresh set of Crane valve springs and we are good to go!! No other damage done! A little tune up action, pack my schtuff, a tank of fuel and we are off to the salt!! See you at the KOA on Friday!!

 

First time there. We will be out there in the '50. Bee-lining it from Indiana Wednesday. And of course, driving there and back 3000 miles...

 

I'll be up again this year, camping at the bend this year.

 

Leaving Everett, WA. after work August 8th. Should be on the salt about noon Friday?

 

Come on over, I dare you Tim, I'm only a couple of hours away from the lake then I can repay your warm hospitality and show you around my neck of the woods! -H.R.D-

First run on the big coarse today was 430 mph and 443 out the back.What a great way to start the day.Speed Demon is so incredible.

 

I know it is off topic, but it is Bonnevill. Today we reset the record for this class. It was at 199.16 MPH at the 2 mile mark and my rider hit the shifter 2 times bypassing 4th gear, the recorded time was 191 MPH. The new record is 186 MPH. We have a few things to sort out but later this week I am going to jump all over the tuneup and try to put him in the 200 MPH club. JC

 

Just got home last night, what a great bunch of people I meet. I had never been before, it was a experience not to miss. The Bones guys were great meet and hung out and was welcomed. Know matter where we walked and who we talked too, people were great.....took lots of pictures and will post some later, I will put in a few now.....Again, you must go. Gotta go clean the car now.....

 

This '39 is just way to killer.....Hope you bust that record
