They were getting going again. Did they print a calendar this year?

I think the focus is to take care of the people that are owed issues, merchandise, etc. before anything else.

  4. Robert I doubt it, as I recall the main concern was to get the magazine out to the subscribers and any merchandise on back order cleared up.

I believe TRJ will come back as strong as ever but they still have a ways to go. HRP

They'll be fine. I got my issue with @Royalshifter in it. I don't much care if the swag is delayed if we keep getting issues. I wish I could life sub.

FYI; I have tried calling them repeatedly, they will not answer the phone & their mailbox is always full, so you can't leave a message. I have sent emails with no response either. I need to do an address change & I think that I need to renew my subscription in the near future. I don't know if they are planning to send out renewal notices or what. I guess that I will just wait & see what happens.

If you're wanting a cool calendar, call Bob Drake and get one of theirs. My buddy Dan McCrary did some great artwork for it.

    Calendars are easy. All you need is 12 pics and a visit to vista prints website 71965996-182E-491C-99D9-5A1657613C38.jpeg B9F235EB-3BE4-47E4-A2E2-717841E44BD5.jpeg 6626D30A-2DAD-4E1E-B7B5-4FC4EDA11D87.jpeg A1A1C88C-BC95-4711-B53B-D881B2F24051.jpeg F5D017B4-BA20-4004-8BE8-AE8DBF869C70.jpeg 8FB62301-F8DB-4932-A66F-DB331186AAD6.jpeg 6DB6F782-BB52-441A-B4BA-A2CFBCF7E038.jpeg 8EBBE126-D2B0-4778-B2A0-A8BE3C63D6F9.jpeg 9D5D0E52-21C8-4968-9B7A-2FE9E5AFF272.jpeg 59F64FAB-B005-49AE-B50B-689DF6564401.jpeg DD3710CD-ACFF-4725-83BE-9F7E42E3C9DF.jpeg BD4E2560-2A93-4FF9-865A-678C93C88DE3.jpeg

Not everyone has their own fleet of calendar quality cars.

  16. I might just take 12 pics of junk around the house.

    great idea.

After several emails to TRJ customer service I finally received a response on December 12th as follows:

    Hi Larry,

    Thanks for the email.

We are working on getting all international subs in the mail, it is taking a lot longer that we had hoped, but we are working on it and hope to have them in the mail soon.

Once they have left we will send out an email blast to let all know they have left the building.

    Thanks for your support.

    The Rodder's Journal

And that’s it so far nothing except for silence and a mailbox empty of my issues.

  19. Where can I order a Moriarty calendar? LOL :)

After years of having magazine subscriptions with some arriving damaged I bought them off the rack. I never had a sub to TRJ and bought at local parts supplier. After TRJ came back I called the shop and they said they had no word but would call me if any showed up. They never did but just last week I went to the shop and saw they had the mag in stock so I bought the latest issue. Good mag but I’m seriously reconsidering buying any more as the cost was $36.00 CDN ! Maybe if they included tech tips I’d wouldn’t mind but...

Well I guess at least they responded to one of their international subscribers. I appreciate you posting an update even if it is the same old song.

I guess I should reach out - I too have had an address change and although I did register a change of address with the post office for a one year period, who knows if they will have the books out (including older issues not sent) by the time that runs out in June...

Heck, I don’t have a dozen family members I want to talk to, much less give them something for Christmas;)

  25. Next year's calendar....spark plug leads.

  26. Do a hamb calendar for frequently asked questions.
First month could be SBC identification
    Next month, epoxy primer
    3rd month, sbc identification
    4th month, car prices
    5th month, sbc identification
6th month, why young pimple suck
    7th month, sbc identification
8th month, the hobby is dying
    9th month, sbc identification
    10th month, rustoleum
    11th month, sbc identification
    12th month, corvette engines

  27. Oh if you want one like that you could also do:
    January: Which oil?
    February: Which bias tire?
March: Which radial that looks bias?
April: Are Johnny Law axles any good?
    May: Which spark plugs?
June: How can I preserve this patina?
July: How do I cure my death wobble?
August: Why won't my car start?
    September: Which filter?
October: My car runs too hot, why?
November: Why can't I get brake pressure?
December: How can I convert my car to power steering?

  28. Dang. I can’t believe I left out oil and filters.
    I’m slipping

  29. There are a few more.:D

  30. Like how new crate engines are cheaper in a “nostalgia” site
