Does anyone have the Rodders Journal issue that featured an article about a 41 Ford tudor sedan that had a Hemi that was painted pink? I believe the title of the feature was "Pink Elephant" I remember reading and seeing it, but unfortunately no longer have that issue. Can someone post it here please? Thanks Matt
Ed Pink's engines were called Pink Elephants. Don't remember that article, but you can search TRJ back issues here, just click on the issue pic for details: http://www.roddersjournal.com/product-category/back-issues/
Unfortunately it appears that it was a very early issue. I'm going to check with a friend who has had a subscription since the magazine first came out. Thanks
Hi @46fatford, I think I know the car you're talking about and if my memory (and bookshelf) are correct, then it wasn't a TRJ feature. I know of a black '41-'48 Ford coupe with a 6x2-fed early Hemi (painted pink), weedburner-style headers and a nose-up stance that I'm almost positive was featured in Rod & Kulture. Maybe shoot them an email?
