I'm finally getting ready to get my '53 wagon on the road. My last hurdle is the radiator hoses. Does anyone have a part number for a hose they used with the stock radiator? Also, can I use the stock radiator with it's small outlets or should I have them changed to the same diameter as the small block has?
the stock rads don't have trans coolers inside if your running a auto trans. find a good parts store, measure the inlet, outlet on the motor and radiator. then look up the hoses in the picture guide.
I just measured the sizes of the outlets and got one of those flexible rubber hoses. I have a walker radiator thats meant for a V8 but the outlet is the same size as stock. I had the stock radiator in it when I got it.
