I've got this old Fenton 2x2 intake for my 1953 Rocket Olds engine. It comes standard with three holes (don't know the right word for it...). I quess the hole near the waterneck is for the temperature sender, but I can't figure out what the other two holes are for. Do you guys have any ideas??

That's what I would say. #1 is heat for the auto choke dashpot, and # 2 a vacum port for advance and windshield wipers when the mainfold was new.

I thought wipers work through the vacuum from the fuel pump??

I had one on my 50 olds in the 50s, but I don't know now.

Hole #2 is probably for the heater hose on the 303 that ran along the left side of the block to the firewall. Pic attached of a stock setup that might be some help. Oops, I see that #2 is indeed in an intake runner. Definitely nothing to do with water! My bad.

Hole #1 is for brake vacume
Hole #2 someone added ...not factory ????
you wouldn't use this for anything but vac advance as it is a intake runner only

If it were me I would tee vac port in "box" area if I was running brakes and wipers

Not for long, they don't. I don't know if all Olds and buicks had the dual function fuel pump or if it was an option.
