So I came across a Rochester 2 Jet carb and would like to sell it but I am a little confused on exactly what I have going on. The ones I have sold in the past have a number stamped on the bottom of the bowl. This one does as well but the last four numbers(the ones in the circle) after the 700 are scratched off. Not sure if that was on purpose or what. I keep hearing of a tag that is usually attached to the top by one of the screws. This one has a tag and it reads 7025071 with a B5 below it. From what I can tell it's from a '65 Firebird. The base is also a little different shape than some others too. My question is why the two different model numbers and which one is correct? Any help appreciated. Thanks guys.
