I am running a single 2G on a mild flathead with Carter 6psi electric fuel pump. Is 6psi too high?
    Thanks

I think you are right on with 6.

the stock Chevy mechanical pumps are 5 to 7, right?

I ran a 2GC on my inline with a stock mechanical pump and it was 5 1/2 to 6 and the carb was fine.

I run my three deuce set-ups @ around 5 psi. but you should get away with six without any trouble.

For real? I'm also fighting an issue with my tripower right now, the center carb wants to flood unless I set the float low, which then kills the accelerator pump shot. I'm running about 7 psi with a stock early corvette mechanical pump.

  7. Well, GM had lots of tripower stuff with the 2GC's. 348's, 389's, etc. All with stock mechanical fuel pumps that put out between 5-7 lbs.
