Just got word that Robert Williams is going to be at the "Fantagraphics Bookstore" (1201 S. Vale St. in Georgetown) for a book signing, next Saturday December 13th, I believe from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. He's promoting a compilation of "ZAP" comics. Then the following Sunday he'll be at the "Northwest Film Forum, (1515 12th Ave. in Capital Hill) for an opening of"Robert Williams, Mr. Bitchin" a biography on the guy. Followed by Question & Answers.
I can't bring my whole Bomber bike for him to sign, so I'm bringing one of the ammo box saddle bags. Seeya' there...

  2. Awesome heads up for those in the area.
Wish I was near there, Mr Williams is my favourite artist.
I'd like to meet him someday.
For now, I'll just have to make do with rereading 'The hot rod world of Robt. Williams.

  3. The hot world of Robt. Williams' one of, if not the best book I've ever read.

What a great couple. So easy going, and willing to spend time talking about anything of interest. But Robert Williams eyes really perked up when you mentioned anything Hot Rod. A good crowd continuously flowing in and out of the book store, and a few Hot Rods roaming the streets outside. Wish I could have brought my whole bike for them to sign, but I made do with one of the saddle bag - ammo boxes.
