This car belongs to a friend of mine... This car sits on a complete '39 Willys chassis and running gear. The car was built back in the '40s starting with a fairly new '39 Willys sedan, removing the body and transplanting a '27 Model T Roadster tub that was widened 4" right down the center. The car was never finished until the mid '90s. The Willys 4-banger is mildly built, but REALLY gets up and goes! ...I have NEVER seen an early flathead that will tach up so high, so fast and so hard! ....he runs it up 5,000 rpm and you swear it's blow up...but it just pulls and pulls...
Here's our 1931 that my dad made into a roadster from a coupe that had the roof modified by a big tree!
