Very cool,Zach. Looks like you guys were having a blast. Need to get the water truck out there and knock a little bit of that dust down. Thanks for posting for all to enjoy.
Definitely was a blast! For me this is what it is about, being able to use and have fun with your car!
Sweet, nice wheel rubbin.thanks for the ride.that track is awsome. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Thanks for the vid. It's great watching you guys blast around and I can imagine how fun it is to actually do it.
Dam l forgot to pull my goggles down when you took off now i got dirt in my eye.dam that was fun that was a close one when you two almost run in to each other. But hell it look like a blast
That put a big smile on my face! I should have came out and saw it in person. Some how I miss all the fun.
Glad everyone enjoyed this.... I know we sure did.... Wish we could do this every weekend! or every day!! The next time we get to run is August 17th and 18th at the WGOT Convention Can't get here soon enough!! www.emmr.org
I have no idea.... I have everything how it should be as far as I know Though I didn't spend a ton of time on it... Broke a cluster once and put in whatever other one I had without much thought... still seems good? this is an actual late '39 with the double detent top and later synchro's, so that may help? Jeremiah's 207 has an early '39 with the older synchro's and it seems to stay in ok too, though... Just lucky I guess?
You have to fab a small hook bolted to the dash, and slide your shifter handle into it. Most of the old stock cars had one.
The Convention is held at Latimore Valley Fairgrounds.... same place as the Jalopy Showdown WGOT is Williams Grove Old Timers The museum is on the same grounds... go and support them!! Check out their site www.emmr.org
