Hot Rods Roadster Wheel Poll

I was fortunate to purchase at a good price some new Chrome smoothie wheels with new Firestone WWW tires and new Radir WWW Cheater Slicks.

Just want some input on which set offers the best look for my roadster.
So would you give your opinion in form of this poll. Thanks You, Larry

 

Whitewalls all the way! !!

 

Love the chrome wheels and wide whites on it. The mags look too 90's street rod to me with the exaggerated bigs and littles and the radial tires. The wide whites look perfect against the white firewall and I have never seen a car that didn't look good with chrome steel wheels like those.

 

I like the white walls much better, much !!!
although I think there's too much white in the fronts for me and the rear rim is too narrow for that tire or tire too wide for the rim.

 

White walls by a mile for me.

 

I'm in the whitewall camp

 

I voted Halibrands and blackwalls.

They look real hot rod, I despise whitewalls on pretty much anything.

 

Dare to be different, White walls and Halibrands, of wait, been done before.

I voted for the Halibrands and blackwalls. Makes it look like a real hot rod.

 

I like both..preferably the white walls/chrome wheels.......but what looks awful to me is:

Whitewalls look really good with the white top. And I don't even like whitewalls.

 

Whitewalls and chrome reverse wheels all way! And you NEED a black alliance firewall tag on that car.

 

My Alliance Tag is on my Shoe Box, Too bad they only give you one. Maybe I will use last years.

 

They both look good but yeah Im leaning toward the smoothies and wide whites, This reminds me of the model kits I use to get as a kid where you had your choice of wheels to make whatever kind of car you wanted.

Why not keep em both and change em out as the mood hits, It will be like having two diffrent cars in one.

 

If they were real Halibrands, I'd be undecided, but the steel chromes and wide whites look great

That car really pops with the whitewalls and chrome wheels. The other way looks good too, but it is just so clean with the WW.

If it were me, it would depend on the day. Keep both; wheels are not that hard to swap

 

white walls , with either wheel , the smoothies are trick , wonder also about the whites on the Hal's though

 

Using that theory, what are: WWW and Chrome wheels = ?

 

I have always associated white walls with a couple of things, customs and restored stockers, neither of which I care much for.

The blackwall look with the right wheels and tire combo along with stance has always screamed mean hot rod to me.

I believe that the hard core hot rodders who were interested mainly in going fast would scoff at the idea of whitewall tires on their hot rods.

White walls IMO lean more to the "cream puff " side of things

 

Both look Good, Switch them up on your whim. I voted for the Mags w/ black side walls. John

 

See that is the beauty of it. People line up with us guys and they think our cars aren't quick because of the WW........then the light turns green !
