Any pics of this difference? I have the fenders that were on my early '28 AR Roadster, and wondering if they are correct. I no longer have the car. :)

  2. My rpu i put away for the winter and don't have pics at this time but if you can post or send me a pic of the rear inside curve'from top' i might be able to help.

Lucky enough to get mine out today in this weird weather we've been having. Nice day spent at the dragstrip watching some friends in their OT cars having fun. Here's a few shots.

  4. Yes, the difference is at the rear where the fender meets the splash apron. On the AR's the fender curves away from the hood shelf out to the curve of the apron. A much prettier fender IMO. My old RPU had an AR on the left, and a standard '29/'29 on the right, from the factory!!!

I'm sure you know it's way past roadster season up there pal. Looks like our buddy T-bones '34 in the garage there.

Yeah, but the weather was good. That is T-Bones '34 in the background. What you can't see in the pics is his '41 Ford truck.

    Coming soon....

  8. How about one from the Vancouver, BC area from the 60's with an all chromed frame. I have heard rumors the frame still exists.

  13. Hers the one I've been building for 2 years. All stel. It started with a 1930 chevy truck cowl. All steel. It is stretched 18 and widened 12 since I'm a big guy. I plan on painting it so no its not a RR.

Don Hentzel's, Oakland CA. about 1955. 27 on 32 rails with 29 fenders. Dodge Hemi powered. About a year later it was gold leafed and striped like a fire truck. Wish I knew what happened to it. Sorry about the quality, scanned form a very old photo.

  18. Man, CA. 280, I'd race ya to that thing if I could. That is one cool truck!

I wouldn't change a thing though it does remind me of what I'd build if I had the opportunity, time and talent...
For now, I raise kids and draw the things...

This is a nice one too. I believe it belongs to a HAMB member. I'm not sure the Hot Rod script in the grille is necessary, it seams pretty obvious to me.

thanks for posting this picture, been awhile since I have seen this one running around. Always enjoy seeing this hotrod. Also remember seeing the 29 rpu with a flatty running around.... till it was sold also.

Not my truck. Since he has owned it over 50 years - he deserves to run any style of wheels he likes.

Here is a photoshopped picture I did of my (and my dad's) project. We have the cab, frame, box, front end. I added the wheels and motor.
